O ar necess\u00e1rio para a combust\u00e3o entra na c\u00e2mara de combust\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s da <a href=\"\/produtos\/valvulas-de-admissao-1070213\/\">v\u00e1lvula de admiss\u00e3o<\/a>. Os gases de escape s\u00e3o depois for\u00e7ados a entrar no coletor de escape atrav\u00e9s da <a href=\"\/produtos\/valvulas-de-escape-1070212\/\">v\u00e1lvula de escape<\/a>. Durante a combust\u00e3o, ambas as v\u00e1lvulas devem permanecer fechadas para comprimir a mistura ar-combust\u00edvel. Para otimizar o funcionamento do motor, os tempos de abertura devem tamb\u00e9m sobrepor-se e s\u00e3o igualmente ajustados em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da velocidade e da temperatura do motor. Todos estes processos t\u00eam origem na \u00e1rvore de cames. Recebe pouca aten\u00e7\u00e3o, mas a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 importante em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 \u00e1rvore de cames &#8211; incluindo mudan\u00e7as de \u00f3leo regulares com <a href=\"\/produtos\/oleos-liquidos-3\/\">\u00f3leo<\/a> adequado.<\/p>\n<h2>Informa\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas sobre a \u00e1rvore de cames<\/h2>\n<p>A \u00e1rvore de cames \u00e9 um eixo fabricado em ferro fundido. As cames integradas e as superf\u00edcies de rolamento das chumaceiras s\u00e3o especialmente endurecidas. Existem canais de \u00f3leo finos por todo o lado, atrav\u00e9s dos quais a <a href=\"\/produtos\/bombas-de-oleo-10902\/\">bomba de \u00f3leo<\/a> no <a href=\"\/produtos\/carteres-de-oleo-10913\/\">c\u00e1rter<\/a> pressuriza o <a href=\"\/produtos\/oleos-para-motores-301\/\">\u00f3leo do motor<\/a> para os rolamentos da \u00e1rvore de cames e para as cames. Consoante o motor, as v\u00e1lvulas s\u00e3o abertas diretamente pelas cames (atrav\u00e9s de tuchos hidr\u00e1ulicos ou folhetos de v\u00e1lvulas ou cal\u00e7os inseridos entre elas) ou atrav\u00e9s dos chamados &#8220;finger followers&#8221; ou balancins. Al\u00e9m disso, muitos motores modernos n\u00e3o t\u00eam apenas uma \u00e1rvore de cames, mas duas. A \u00e1rvore de cames em si funciona atrav\u00e9s da <a href=\"\/produtos\/correias-dentadas-1070108\/\">correia de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> na parte da frente. Esta recebe a sua energia da parte da frente da cambota.<\/p>\n<h2>Manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rvore de cames<\/h2>\n<p>As correntes de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o utilizadas em alguns motores. Enquanto as <a href=\"\/produtos\/correias-dentadas-1070108\/\">correias dentadas<\/a> s\u00e3o auto-lubrificantes (devido \u00e0 pequena quantidade de abras\u00e3o da borracha), a transmiss\u00e3o por corrente e os carris associados s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m lubrificados atrav\u00e9s do \u00f3leo do motor. Os tensores da corrente tamb\u00e9m podem ser enchidos com \u00f3leo para otimizar a tens\u00e3o da corrente de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o. A prop\u00f3sito, em muitos motores com correias dentadas, a bomba de \u00e1gua tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 accionada por esta correia. Esta conce\u00e7\u00e3o resulta numa certa manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rvore de cames ou das \u00e1rvores de cames:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ajusta as v\u00e1lvulas<\/li>\n<li>Verifica as dimens\u00f5es e os rolamentos da \u00e1rvore de cames<\/li>\n<li>Substitui os vedantes da haste da v\u00e1lvula, se necess\u00e1rio<\/li>\n<li>Muda o \u00f3leo regularmente<\/li>\n<li>Verifica a tens\u00e3o da corrente ou substitui a corrente e o tensor<\/li>\n<li>Substitui regularmente a correia de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o, incluindo a bomba de \u00e1gua<\/li>\n<li>Verifica o vedante de \u00f3leo na parte da frente da cambota<\/li>\n<li>Verifica o vedante de \u00f3leo na \u00e1rvore de cames<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Regula\u00e7\u00e3o das v\u00e1lvulas ou dos tuchos hidr\u00e1ulicos e vedantes da haste<\/h2>\n<p>A regula\u00e7\u00e3o das v\u00e1lvulas \u00e9 uma coisa do passado para a maioria dos motores h\u00e1 cerca de 20 anos. Nessa altura, os tuchos hidr\u00e1ulicos tornaram-se cada vez mais populares. Estes est\u00e3o cheios de \u00f3leo do motor e asseguram automaticamente a dist\u00e2ncia correcta entre a came da \u00e1rvore de cames e a v\u00e1lvula. Se os tuchos hidr\u00e1ulicos estiverem defeituosos, pode ouvir-se um ru\u00eddo de estalido no motor ap\u00f3s um longo per\u00edodo de inatividade (durante a noite), que desaparece ap\u00f3s um curto per\u00edodo de tempo. Isto deve-se ao facto de o \u00f3leo se ter esgotado e de os tuchos hidr\u00e1ulicos terem de voltar a encher.<\/p>\n<p>Se, ap\u00f3s um longo per\u00edodo de inatividade, sair uma nuvem azul do escape ao ligar o motor, mas esta tamb\u00e9m desaparecer rapidamente, as juntas da haste da v\u00e1lvula est\u00e3o defeituosas e o \u00f3leo do motor est\u00e1 a vazar da cabe\u00e7a do cilindro para a c\u00e2mara de combust\u00e3o. Isto tamb\u00e9m significa que a <a href=\"\/produtos\/cabecas-do-motor-10702\/\">cabe\u00e7a do cilindro<\/a> n\u00e3o tem a quantidade total de \u00f3leo dispon\u00edvel imediatamente ap\u00f3s o arranque. Al\u00e9m disso, as chumaceiras e as dimens\u00f5es da came tamb\u00e9m podem ter de ser verificadas pelo servi\u00e7o p\u00f3s-venda, de acordo com o plano de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Verifica tamb\u00e9m os an\u00e9is de veda\u00e7\u00e3o na cabe\u00e7a do cilindro ou se existe \u00f3leo no acionamento da distribui\u00e7\u00e3o. Se o vedante de \u00f3leo na Cambota estiver defeituoso, o \u00f3leo puxa-o para cima no acionamento de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o. Isto pode provocar o deslizamento da correia. Isto faz com que a sincroniza\u00e7\u00e3o se desloque, o motor funcione de forma irregular e fa\u00e7a fumo branco ou azul (dependendo de as v\u00e1lvulas abrirem demasiado cedo ou demasiado tarde). No pior dos casos, as v\u00e1lvulas batem nos pist\u00f5es, o que normalmente torna a repara\u00e7\u00e3o do motor mais cara do que a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o do motor.<\/p>\n<div
