Por eso, las marcas buscan un equilibrio entre potencia, consumo y durabilidad.<\/p>\n<p>El chiptuning consiste en modificar la gesti\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica del motor para aprovechar reservas de potencia que el fabricante deja \u201cocultas\u201d. Estas reservas pueden ser t\u00e9rmicas o mec\u00e1nicas. La gran ventaja es que no necesitas cambiar piezas: basta con reprogramar la centralita o a\u00f1adir m\u00f3dulos adicionales.<\/p>\n<p>La centralita del motor analiza constantemente datos de sensores y ajusta par\u00e1metros como la inyecci\u00f3n de combustible o el encendido. Con el chiptuning, se modifican esas instrucciones para obtener m\u00e1s rendimiento.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tecnicas_de_chiptuning\"><\/span>T\u00e9cnicas de chiptuning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el veh\u00edculo, el chiptuning puede realizarse de distintas formas:<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interfaz_OBD2\"><\/span>Interfaz OBD2<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Se utiliza para diagnosticar fallos, pero en coches modernos tambi\u00e9n permite leer y reescribir el software del motor directamente a trav\u00e9s del puerto OBD.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interfaz_BDM\"><\/span>Interfaz BDM<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>En veh\u00edculos m\u00e1s antiguos sin OBD avanzado, la centralita se desmonta y se reprograma directamente mediante conexi\u00f3n BDM.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Chiptuning_por_soldadura\"><\/span>Chiptuning por soldadura<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>En modelos a\u00fan m\u00e1s antiguos, se extraen los chips de la centralita, se modifican y se vuelven a soldar o se sustituyen por otros nuevos.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tuning_box\"><\/span>Tuning box<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Es un m\u00f3dulo externo que se instala entre sensores y centralita. Modifica las se\u00f1ales enviadas para \u201cenga\u00f1ar\u201d al sistema y generar m\u00e1s potencia sin tocar el software original.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFEs_legal_el_chiptuning\"><\/span>\u00bfEs legal el chiptuning?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>El chiptuning no es ilegal en s\u00ed, pero est\u00e1 estrictamente regulado. Cualquier modificaci\u00f3n que afecte a las caracter\u00edsticas t\u00e9cnicas del veh\u00edculo se considera una reforma importante y debe homologarse.<\/p>\n<p>Esto implica que el coche necesita una nueva aprobaci\u00f3n para circular legalmente. Adem\u00e1s, la modificaci\u00f3n debe declararse al seguro, ya que puede afectar a la p\u00f3liza. Si no se comunica, la aseguradora puede rechazar coberturas o incluso cancelar el contrato.<\/p>\n<p>La raz\u00f3n principal de esta regulaci\u00f3n es la seguridad: m\u00e1s potencia sin adaptar frenos, transmisi\u00f3n o chasis puede ser peligroso. Adem\u00e1s, las emisiones pueden aumentar y provocar que el veh\u00edculo no pase la ITV.<\/p>\n<p>En resumen: el chiptuning es posible, pero solo es legal si se homologa correctamente y se declara.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Costes_del_chiptuning\"><\/span>Costes del chiptuning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Las tuning boxes m\u00e1s b\u00e1sicas pueden costar entre 20 y 300 euros, pero su calidad y adaptaci\u00f3n var\u00edan mucho seg\u00fan el modelo del motor. Un ajuste poco preciso puede aumentar el consumo, el desgaste del motor y reducir su vida \u00fatil.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso, lo m\u00e1s recomendable es acudir a un especialista.
