S\u00e3o mais pequenos e mais leves e podem, normalmente, ser instalados no compartimento da roda sobresselente. Se for instalado um dep\u00f3sito de g\u00e1s natural ou de GPL, n\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio remover o antigo dep\u00f3sito de gasolina. Manter o dep\u00f3sito antigo permite-lhe reabastecer em caso de emerg\u00eancia, o que pode ser \u00fatil se n\u00e3o houver uma esta\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7o nas proximidades.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nao_e_para_quem_conduz_pouco_ou_depressa\"><\/span>N\u00e3o \u00e9 para quem conduz pouco ou depressa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A instala\u00e7\u00e3o de um dep\u00f3sito de g\u00e1s pode ser interessante, uma vez que o g\u00e1s \u00e9 consideravelmente mais barato do que a gasolina. Com a variante de g\u00e1s natural, os automobilistas poupam cerca de metade do custo. Em contrapartida, o GPL \u00e9 35% mais caro do que o g\u00e1s natural. No entanto, um dep\u00f3sito de g\u00e1s n\u00e3o \u00e9 para todos. O g\u00e1s n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequado para condutores que conduzem principalmente em auto-estradas. O consumo de g\u00e1s aumenta exponencialmente com a velocidade. Al\u00e9m disso, a convers\u00e3o para g\u00e1s n\u00e3o \u00e9 rent\u00e1vel para quem n\u00e3o conduz muito.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manutencao_dispendiosa\"><\/span>Manuten\u00e7\u00e3o dispendiosa<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Em termos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o, os motores a g\u00e1s t\u00eam uma desvantagem em rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos motores a gasolina. A inspe\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 20 euros mais cara, uma vez que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio um controlo adicional do sistema de g\u00e1s. Conduzir com g\u00e1s \u00e9 compat\u00edvel com os seus pr\u00f3prios h\u00e1bitos de condu\u00e7\u00e3o? Os custos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o ligeiramente mais elevados ser\u00e3o compensados pela poupan\u00e7a de combust\u00edvel? Al\u00e9m disso, deve ter em conta que a convers\u00e3o em si n\u00e3o \u00e9 barata.
