Caso contr\u00e1rio, a falta de controlo regular pode provocar, mais cedo ou mais tarde, danos graves no motor. Isto acontece porque o \u00f3leo lubrifica as pe\u00e7as m\u00f3veis do motor e evita que estas se esfreguem umas nas outras e se desgastem demasiado depressa. Al\u00e9m disso, os ve\u00edculos com cerca de sete anos ou mais s\u00e3o particularmente suscet\u00edveis a este problema. Por isso, \u00e9 importante verificar regularmente o n\u00edvel do \u00f3leo.<\/p>\n<h2>Preparar a medi\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00edvel de \u00f3leo<\/h2>\n<p>Antes de iniciar a medi\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio garantir condi\u00e7\u00f5es de medi\u00e7\u00e3o adequadas. Em primeiro lugar, o motor deve estar quente, pois o \u00f3leo aquecido expande-se e permite uma medi\u00e7\u00e3o mais exata. Em seguida, estacione o ve\u00edculo numa superf\u00edcie t\u00e3o plana quanto poss\u00edvel e aguarde cerca de cinco minutos. Durante este tempo, o \u00f3leo pode escorrer para o c\u00e1rter e, assim, o valor medido ser\u00e1 mais preciso.<\/p>\n<p>Depois disso, pode abrir o capot. Para o fazer, prima a alavanca de desbloqueio situada por baixo do volante. Normalmente, a medi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 feita com a chamada vareta de medi\u00e7\u00e3o, que costuma ter uma cor chamativa, geralmente amarela, e chama imediatamente a aten\u00e7\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m disso, um anel na extremidade da vareta permite pux\u00e1-la para fora com facilidade. Se n\u00e3o encontrar imediatamente a vareta de medi\u00e7\u00e3o, consulte o manual de instru\u00e7\u00f5es do fabricante.<\/p>\n<h2>Instru\u00e7\u00f5es: medi\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00edvel de \u00f3leo<\/h2>\n<p>\u00c9 assim que se mede corretamente o n\u00edvel do \u00f3leo:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retire a vareta do orif\u00edcio e limpe o \u00f3leo aderente com um pano limpo e que n\u00e3o largue pelos.<\/li>\n<li>Em seguida, insira a vareta completamente na abertura e volte a pux\u00e1-la para fora.<\/li>\n<li>Depois, observe os res\u00edduos de \u00f3leo na vareta, pois estes indicam a quantidade de \u00f3leo que ainda se encontra no dep\u00f3sito. Idealmente, o n\u00edvel deve situar-se entre as duas marcas \u201cmin\u201d e \u201cmax\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Se os res\u00edduos de \u00f3leo estiverem abaixo da marca de n\u00edvel m\u00ednimo, deve
